The theme of the symposium brought up the association of the white “city” of the dead. The openwork of the cemetery fences was later replaced by the metal balcony patterns of Kaunas – as sinuous and curled as Jiesia’s tea set handles. Also – by adding a loop to the monumental concrete “vessels” (mostly cups) of the cemetery – almost a porcelain tea set is created
